We know your time is valuable, so the gratitude is tremendous when you choose to spend it with us.
Welcome to episode #140! We appreciate all the feedback and positivity we received on our first ever video podcast last week. Thank you so much for the comments and the tags you did on Social!
If Im being honest with you, Im not sure when we started recording this episode that it would go down this path or that I would be that open and vulnerable.
Kim asks the question in the middle: Do you want me to Coach you right now? It sparks up a great conversation and she gives some incredible advice.
This is a really deep conversation about some of the things Ive been dealing with and how Ive been managing it. We are complicated human beings, and while we can intellectually understand what is happening and what we are doing, and what we are SUPPOSED to do, it doesnt mean we do what we should or what is best for us.
Sometimes the most uncomfortable conversations can help people the most and I hope this episode helps someone out there. We all struggle. But we dont need to do it alone or in silence.
Thanks you for listening everyone, we appreciate you spending your time with us!

We are so excited to share with the you the FIRST episode of Fitzlife Unfiltered on YOU TUBE!

It's been a long time coming and we can't wait for you to watch, listen, or enjoy it in whatever capacity you can join us. Thank you.
We’d also like to introduce you to Kyle, you will hear his voice from time to time, he is not only a friend, but an incredibly talented business and production person and his company Agency1 and his contact info are in the show notes. He’s also here to take my side on most issues. ;)
In this episode we really just wanted to share why we wanted to do this version of the Podcast and also we talk about our relationship, our businesses, and how we continue to navigate those roles. There are often times in our relationship where we have to ask each other first at the start of a conversation, “Is this a marriage convo or a business convo?” Because we are married, and when you are partnered with each other, you sometimes have to separate the two.
You don’t want to be “coached” by your partner, so we try to be transparent and open with each other. Inevitably, the lines get blurred, and it’s just important to recognize what is happening and no the intent is always to solve the problem and improve communication.
This was really fun. It was definitely a different vibe for Kim and I with the camera’s on, I think it provides for a more engaged conversation.

In this heartfelt solo episode, Kim reflects on the deep, emotional theme of “coming home to yourself.” As she prepares to lead her women’s retreat called The Embodied Woman in Costa Rica, Kim shares how this experience is about expansion, awakening, and reconnection. Through a personal story with our daughter Tessa, she explores the idea that true safety and belonging don’t come from external achievements, titles, or other people—but from within.
Kim emphasizes that “home” is not a destination, but a frequency—an inner knowing, a quiet peace, and a return to self. The episode challenges the performative nature of modern life, encouraging listeners to drop the mask, hold boundaries, and stop waiting for healing to be complete before moving forward.
Kim urges us to stop chasing external validation and instead anchor our goals in our values and mission. She invites listeners to explore what “home” feels like for them and to give themselves permission to be whole, worthy, and full right now. Through moments of stillness, truth-telling, and grace, she calls us back to ourselves with the powerful reminder: You are already home. You are not late. You are exactly on time.

“It’s gonna be Mayyyyy!!!”
You sang that inside your head didn’t you? 😁 Well, you get to hear me sing it, so my apologies. Yes, it’s May, and the year is flyingggg by!
Today, we talk about “Manufactured Energy” vs “Natural Energy”. In a world with so many demands from family, job, health, and world issues it can be really easy to feel depleted in your energy stores and sources.
Manufactured energy is forced, short-lived, and often fueled by stimulants or hype. Natural energy flows from alignment—rest, purpose, nutrition, and passion. While manufactured energy burns fast and fades, natural energy sustains, empowers, and feels effortless. True performance and longevity come from tapping into what’s real, not what’s artificially created.
Manufactured tends to be short term solutions while natural energy requires a health and wellness plan that is rooted in long term principles.
Like many episodes we do, a common theme is health and wellness. Natural energy comes from surrounding yourself around positive people, quality sleep, eating better, regular movement, hydration, and mindfulness. Daily sunlight, reduced stress, and living with purpose really adds to your energy stores. Unlike stimulants, these habits create sustained energy.
