In this episode of Inside Golf Podcast, Andy Lack (@adplacksports) is joined by Zac Blair to talk about qualifying for the US Open in Springfield, Ohio for the second year in a row and Oakmont. Zac is a certified ball-knower, compared to other PGA Tour players, he actually knows and cares about architecture, and I believe that might be a real advantage for him at Oakmont, particularly on the green complexes. We talk about what makes Oakmont unique as a golf course, why I believe that Zac and other shorter hitters can compete there, and finally, in the second half of the episode, we discuss the Tree Farm. I spent a weekend at the Tree Farm in November with two of the founding members that started Tree Farm with Zac. I loved it. I think my love for that golf course will absolutely come through on this episode, so it was a real treat for me to get to talk to Zac about what I admire so much about the golf course and the club in general. I think its an awesome destination club that gets a lot of the little things right, and I dive into what those little things are with Zac in this episode.
