Oh boy, UTD fest is in the rearview.. we had an absolute BLAST at the event. In this episode we do a little bit of reflection and talk about our favorite moments of the event, as well as talking about the sci-fi campaign that we are currently playing. Dark Tyler is in the mix with us and he breaks down his Imperial Guard army and the story behind them. Gage is excited about OPR Warfleets and is making bug-ships for his Tyranids. Terry talks a little about the challenges of judging Rusted Demon, and Steve talks (again..) about setting up a wiki for documenting lore and stories behind the sci-fi campaign. The future is beautiful, bright, and we are stoked to have a little mental space to explore some new frontiers. Stay tuned folks!

You're probably on your way already, but this episodes getting snuck out a little early to give you something to enjoy during your travels! We have Dark Tyler and Paulie Mordheim with us today and we're breaking down what is happening at UTD Fest this year. We go through the whole weekend, and surprise even ourselves with how much we have going on, truly a weekend for the ages. We talk about building up the boards, new things we've never tried, and events and games you can expect to see in addition to Mordheim. Paulie talks about setting up a Warmaster event for the weekend, and Terry breaks down organizing classes at UTD. Steve tells us a little about the Flames of Orion Kickstarter (linked below) and creating an addition to his massive Mordheim board project, which is now at 3' x 9'. Tyler is bummed about his car exploding, and finishing his 2000pts of undead for Warmaster, and Gage runs through all the awesome music we have lined up for the night gigs.

Back home from Adepticon, feels good to turn our attention onto our own event - Under the Dice Fest! Which will be here by the time you know it. Before we get into the nitty-gritty of event planning, let's take a second to reflect on how everything went this year in Milwaukee. We met lots of new people this year, did lots of new things, and in this episode we break down the highs and lows of Adepticon 2025. We talk about merch we picked up, games we played, and interactions we had. This episode was recorded in a secret service corridor at Adepticon, where we trapped the LEGEND Dave Taylor (@davetaylorminiatures) and our friend Nate Dungeon (@natedungeon). We get to go DEEP with two of the most creative, bad ass freaks on this side of the hobby. Dave Taylor talks his favorite projects he's been a part of throughout his legacy, as well as how he created "The Art Of..." series, and the impact of 28 Mag (Kickstarter Here!) . Nate talks to us about community organizing, running 40k tournaments, and some amazing stories about the War of the False Primarch scenarios he's been running on the tabletop. This one is NOT to be missed. On top of that we talk the history of interaction between Games Workshop and it's fans, the impact of Games Days and why community events like Adepticon are important. It was a real treat to sit down with these two and have such a great discussion.
