RAW is Jericho on April, 17th 2000! WWF RAW opens the show hot with Chris Jericho vs Triple H, in what was scheduled as a non-title match with Triple H defending the honor of Stephanie McMahon. Jericho verbally assaults Triple H and convinces him to put the WWF Championship on the line right now! After a referee gets bumped during the match, Earl Hebner comes in at the end of the match and counts the pin for Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho is the NEW WWF Champion, for all of 2 minutes. Triple H argues with the refs and says that Earl made a fast count and needs to reverse the decision. Earl agrees as long as Triple H doesn’t mess with him while he works for the WWF. Triple H goes along with it until he gets his title back. He then fires Hebner and beats him up. Also, Linda McMahon is here with a big surprise that she won’t tell anyone about. She goes into the ring and says that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be in the corner of The Rock at the Backlash against Triple H. This makes Triple H and Stephanie upset and Stephanie goes to slap her mom. However, Linda was ready and countered it by slapping her back. Plus, The Hardyz vs Eddie and Essa Rios, Crash Holly vs Perry Saturn vs Tazz and much more. In the main event, Chris Jericho teams with the APA to take on DX!

It’s the historic 300 episode of the DEADLOCK Podcast. Taking it back to episode #97 of NWA TNA Wrestling’s weekly PPVs. This one features the very first King of the Mountain Match. The King of the Mountain match is a reverse ladder match where five wrestlers must earn eligibility by scoring a pinfall or submission, then hang the NWA Championship belt above the ring to win. Opponents can be temporarily sent to a penalty box if they are pinned or submitted. This match featured Ron Killings, Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Raven, and Chris Harris. Also, The NWA TNA X-Division Title is on the line as Frankie Kazarian defends against The Amazing Red. Dusty Rhodes teams with James Storm to take on Kid Kash & Dallas for the NWA Tag Team Titles. January 25th, 1993 is the date for the 3rd ever episode of WWF Monday Night RAW. Yokozuka has won the Royal Rumble the night before, but that’s not the focus of this episode. Ric Flair’s WWF contract is up so they need a match to write him off! The main event is a Loser Leaves WWF match between Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair that turns into a straight up classic. There’s blood, there’s cheating, there’s Bobby Heenan going absolutely nuts at ringside. Mr. Perfect send Ric Flair packing. Also, Kamala battles the Brooklyn Brawler and slaps his belly, Randy Savage wrestles the Repo Man to try and get his stolen hat back, and Rob Bartlett rambles on! It’s 1993 WWF where they are still trying to figure out what the show is going to be. Plus, the boys talk about the Japan trip!

It’s WCW Thunder in the year 2000 and you know what that means, it’s Vince Russo time! On the July 26th, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, the show opens with the commissioner The Cat getting attacked by the Jung Dragons. This causes the limo driver, MI Smooth, to get pissed and challenge them to a match later that night. The Filthy Animals take on 3 Count, Big Vito battles Lance Storm for the Hardcore Title, and Judy Bagwell wrestles Positively Kanyon! Also, Billy Kidman plays a VHS tape between Shane Douglas and Torrie Wilson where Shane Douglas couldn’t get it up. Plus, Goldberg sits down and shoots on turning heel in WCW, tells everyone how he doesn’t like wrestling, and that Kevin Nash was booked to beat him. It’s a crazy messed up world in WCW on Thunder with Vince Russo booking the entire catastrophe.

HEY NETWORK I DARE YOU TO THROW ME OFF THE AIR! The date is June 2nd, 2000 and ECW is at odds with their network TNN. WWF is about to move to TNN after they were given 100 million dollars. Paul Heyman and ECW aren’t happy. So what is the best thing to do? Do a shoot promo on the air of ECW Hardcore TV and air your grievances. Was this a good idea? Probably not. But, it made for some great television. Also, Kid Kash and The Baldie Grimes do battle, Tony Mamaluke makes his ECW debut, and Rhino defends the ECW TV Title against The Sandman.
