361 From a 90-page business plan to a buzzing community hub w/ Nate Lessnick, Founder of Flow State Bike Co
When Nate dreamed up Flow State Bike Co, it was never just about bikes. It was about belonging.
He saw this gap in the local bike scene, no real hub for mountain bikers and gravel rides, to go meet, grab a coffee, talk trail conditions, and feel like they belonged.
But making the LEAP from idea to reality? That’s often the hardest part.
Nate spent over a year crafting a 90-page business plan. Not because he has to but because he needed to be fully aligned with his vision. That document became his compass.
And then… when he opened the doors. Not knowing who would show up… the COMMUNITY came in full force. They were ready. Not just for a shop. For this shop. His vision.
In this episode, we chat about:
Why your vision isn’t “too specific”
How slowing down to reconnect with your “why” can give you the clarity you need to move forward
What happens when you build something rooted in real purpose, people feel it, and they will show up.
If you’re ready to get your idea off the ground and actually make it happen, this episode is for you.

Welcome back to another episode of the Visionary Life Podcast.
Today we're talking about Social Media Content Creation... and more specfically, what to do when you get into one of those pesky content creation ruts.
You know, those times when inspiration seems to have packed its bags and left town?
Yep, I've been there too!
In this episode, I’m diving into my own experiences of shaking off the cobwebs and finding that creative spark again.
I’ve discovered this cool little routine I like to call the R.U.T. method – Repeat, Uplift, Teach. It’s been a lifesaver for me in getting back on track with my social media content.
Plus, I’m sharing some thoughts on using AI tools like ChatGPT.
Let’s get into it!
Thanks for tuning into this episode. All links, events & offers can be found below.

Welcome back to another episode of Visionary Life!
It’s just me today, your host, and I’m sitting down to reflect on the wrap-up of Q1 and all the exciting opportunities (& challenges!) that come with a fresh season.
Honestly, the rhythm of entrepreneurship is such a ride, and I want to share how I’ve been balancing high-energy days with quieter moments for creativity and reflection.
I’ll walk you through some personal highlights and the challenges I faced over the last few months, like navigating a jam-packed schedule with limited childcare, tracking key business metrics (yes, I’m obsessed!), and leaning into the energy that a new season brings!
We’ll also chat about why goal setting feels so aligned during Q2 and the difference between building a business from passion, past profession versus solving a problem.
I also open up about learning to stay flexible and keeping the energy light hearted in the home & in general... to make both life and business flow easier.
Hit play, and let's dig in!
