Note from Jane Ubell-Meyer:
For every membership purchased, we will donate a membership to a charity for the blind to help their people!
WHY am I doing this?
My dad's best friend, Roger, experienced two separate incidents where the retina of his eye(s) detached. He went 100% blind in his 70's.
The Lighthouse Guild in NYC helped him cope with life after this tragedy. My dad took him there every single day. I was always amazed at how he helped so many people—I thought audiobooks were an excellent gift for these people. Rick and I are reaching out to charities for the blind across the USA to offer a free membership for every membership purchased. PS...Roger ended up leaving millions to that charity.
